Welcome to the Santa Clara Racing Association
Laser Fleet in San Diego, California.
Santa Clara Racing Association provides high-quality dinghy and sailboard racing. SCRA consists of a Laser and a Sailboard Fleet.
The Laser Fleet offers monthly regattas, annual trophies, occasional clinics, special events, and more.
Monthly regattas are held according to the schedule. The races are sailed on west Mission Bay (Sail Bay), San Diego, CA. The launch area is towards the north end of Bahia Point on the east side of the Bahia Resort Hotel.
We typically have six back to back races beginning at noon. High Point Skipper Award is presented at the annual holiday banquet.
The SCRA Sailboard Fleet (SDWA) regattas are usually the first Saturday of each month. They are held in different locations throughout the year. Santa Clara Racing Association - Sailboard Fleet information can be found at the SDWA link.

Where to find us
Racers typically launch from the Bahia Point and the Mission Bay Yacht Club.
Bahia Point is located on West Mission Bay near the intersection of West Mission Bay Drive and Mission Blvd. From West Mission Bay Drive, turn north onto Gleeson Road (at the stoplight) and follow the road around the eastern perimeter of the Bahia Resort Hotel, past the restrooms. SCRA launches towards the northern tip of Bahia Point. There is plenty of parking, lawn for rigging, and a short distance to the water across a sandy beach.
Non-member entry fee is $10, juniors and students $5; first-timers are free! Annual membership is $60 for Flag (entire family) and $30 for juniors or full time students.
